Foundation Festival launches in South West!
Foundation Festival, the South West’s newest festival launches this summer, and tickets go on sale today!
Foundation Festival brings together live music and performing arts over the weekend of 1st – 3rd September in the heart of the South West countryside. With a line up that boasts the Fun Lovin Criminals, Goldie Lookin Chain, Coldcut, Kosheen and Scratch Perverts, the six stages will present a collection of music ranging from house to hip hop, jazz to drum n bass, acoustic to electronica.
Playing across a main stage, performing arts and circus stage, dance tent and three other areas, the Foundation Festival will nurture new talent in music with a new bands stage, as well as offering the alternative entertainment of arts and cabaret.
Foundation Festival was borne from the desire to make a difference and create a charitable event that not only contributed revenue but also provided a platform for Oxfam, Shelter and Warchild to raise awareness about their campaigns.
Set in the idyllic surroundings of the Mendip Hills, the camping event will be a fusion of music, art, performance and entertainment and offers the perfect weekend of the south west’s finest music.
The acts announced today are the start of the final 100 plus acts that will play to up to 20,000 music fans, all in one weekend that promises to be ‘the’ end to the summer.

We felt it was our own personal responsibility to support good causes in order to bring about change for future generations, and give people a damn good time doing it.”
