Travelex £10 Season opens with Henry IV Part 1 & Henry IV Part 2, bringing Michael Gambon back to the National as Falstaff, and continues with writer/director David Farr’s The UN Inspector, a modern take on Gogol’s satire. The final play in the Travelex Season will be a new play by David Edgar set in contemporary Britain, Playing with Fire. The Travelex £10 Season continues into its third year at the National Theatre; once again, two thirds of the seats in the Olivier Theatre, the National’s largest auditorium, are on sale for £10, for four productions running in repertoire over six months. The rest are £25. The Guardian recently said that ‘the National Theatre has suddenly become the place to be’. We look forward to seeing you on the South Bank soon to find out for yourself. |
