Nowt2Do.Com Announce The Winners Of The Nowt2Do 2003 Awards.
Awarding Bristol’s best theatre.
After over three years servicing Bristolian’s, Nowt2Do.Com is delighted to announce their first
annual theatre awards.
After years reviewing some truly amazing theatre, Nowt2Do.Com thought it was about time they
rewarded the best of the best, and it’s with this they announce the Nowt2Do.Com Theatre Awards
for 2003. Bristol has seen some fantastic theatre this year, and Nowt2Do.Com are delighted to
have been part of it.
Every show, which was reviewed and performed during 2003, was eligible for entry and the large
reviewing team spent an agonising month coming up with a shortlist for nominations.
The public cast nearly 4000 votes for the first annual awards and the site will be constantly
updated as we hear from the winners in person!
The winners are as follows. Read next to the category for acceptance speeches from, Derren Brown,
The Bristol Hippodrome, James Mason and Cyberjam. More to come soon.

"Finding the regions premier venue for 2003, productions, space and atmosphere are amongst the many attributes taken into
account."
Winner: The Bristol Hippodrome For its grandeur, excellent sight lines and comfort.
"Now we know what it feels like to win an Oscar! Needless to say, we hoped we might be in with a
chance of winning one of the categories, but we were bowled over to win Best Venue, to have hosted the Best Touring Musical
- Miss Saigon and of course, this proves that it's not just us who can't wait for Mary Poppins to open in September, but
thousands of our patrons too!"
-- Sarah Bennett-Milne, Press Officer.

like to thank Nowt2Do.Com and all the people that came and showed their appreciation at each performance. For all

best ensemble performance

"The best all round performance by the whole cast."
Winner: Cyberjam (Queen’s Theatre)
"This award is a tribute to all the hard work that goes on in getting a production together. The
cast continually delivered a high quality performance that resulted in a standing ovation night after night. The cast
amazed me with their untiring effort and willingness of giving oneself to the good of the whole every second on and off
stage. The coordination that brought this production to stage and sacrifice that went into pulling it off still amazes
me. I am proud to accept this award on behalf of this energetic and skilled group of performers."
