The show which got 4 ticks on Nowt2Do.Com when it enticed and enthralled Bristol audiences is back, bigger, badder and better than ever before in London's West End.

It's still flirty and dirty at thirty as Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show celebrates 30 years of Frock N Roll with a West End Season at The Queens Theatre from June 23rd 2003.

Richard O'Brien's legendary “The Rocky Horror Show", the most successful rock 'n' roll musical ever, celebrates its 30th birthday with a party season in London’s West End. With a cast including Jonathan Wilkes, Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show will play a limited two-week season at the Queen’s Theatre from 23 June 2003. The show comes to the West End from a sell-out national tour, which broke box office records all over the country.

Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show premiered at The Royal Court Theatre on 16 June 1973 and subsequently won the Evening Standard Award for Best Musical in the same year. Productions have been mounted in places as far flung as South Korea, Peru and Zimbabwe. In 1992 the show won the Best Musical Award in South Africa, the first foreign show to do so after the cultural ban was lifted by the ANC. In 2001 Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show was nominated for the Tony for Best Musical Revival. In the last 30 years the show has played to over 20 million people all over the world and is the longest and most attended musical in German theatre and the most popular musical ever in Poland!

Previous show alumni include Jason Donovan, Anthony Head, Craig McLachlan, Darren Day and Robin Cousins in the role of ‘Frank N Furter’. Other cast members have included Ade Edmonson, Gina Bellman, Linda Davidson, Sophie Lawrence, Rhona Cameron, Christine Hamilton, Elizabeth Carling, Nigel Planer, Lloyd Grossman and John Stalker. The 1975 film adaptation of the show “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, starred Susan Sarandon, Richard O’Brien, Tim Curry, Meatloaf and Barry Bostwick and was an enormous box office hit all over the world.

Stepping into the high heels of ‘Frank N Furter’ is one of the UK's hottest stars, Jonathan Wilkes. Since winning the "Cameron Mackintosh Young Entertainer of the Year" six years ago, Jonathan's career has gone from strength-to-strength, most recently, winning massive public acclaim in the musical “Godspell”. He will shortly be seen as the new host of ITV’s “You’ve Been Framed”.

Still keeping it up after all these years, the show features all the timeless classics including Sweet Transvestite, Damn It Janet and, of course, the pelvic-thrusting Time Warp.

Bringing the ultimate party experience to a whole new generation, join Frank N Furter, Brad, Janet and all the crew for an evening of delicious but dangerous delights!
