Top acts will again play at selected Forestry Commission sites across the country as part of the successful Forest Tours Concert programme this summer.

Bryan Ferry, Paul Weller, The Fun Lovin Criminals, The Sugababes, Jools Holland and Status Quo will all be playing at selected venues from June 2004.

‘This year we are again featuring selected artists who can provide wide spread appeal to all ages and musical tastes.   All the bands chosen have expressed an interest in taking part in the Forestry Commission’s Forest Tours programme which is now in its fourth successive year and firmly established as a popular annual outdoor musical event.    The unique and atmospheric setting created by each of the forest sites included is enjoyed as much by the artists as concert goers who come to experience something out of the ordinary, said Phil Morton who is organising this year’s Forest Tours for the Forestry Commission.’
