The second show in the Grolsch Summer Set saw Groove Armada shaking the Canon¹s Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol tonight, 3rd August 2004.

Their super stylin¹ beats sent the crowds jumping on this summer evening. Local band Kosheen got the evening off to a relaxed start with a mellow chilled out set. The beautiful voice of lead singer Sian was the perfect backdrop to the summer gig hosted by Grolsch. Things got a little livelier once the amazing duo, Groove Armada took to the stage. The band¹s music is without doubt the perfect soundtrack to any summers evening with their mixture of chilled lazy beats and up-tempo dance floor classics.

One of the finest live acts on the circuit really got the audience going as the sun went down on the dancing crowd at Canon¹s Marsh Amphitheatre.

Stuart Cain, Director of Media Service, Grolsch commented: The atmosphere tonight was incredible with crowds arriving straight from work to enjoy a chilled beer in this urban location. Live music is an area that continues to play an important part of the Grolsch drinkers lifestyle and tonight they have enjoyed a unique environment coupled with a stunning performance from Groove Armada.

Groove Armada is the second band to play at Canon¹s Marsh Amphitheatre this week as part of The Grolsch Summer Set in Bristol. Groove Armada were preceded by a returning hero set from Massive Attack and tomorrow will see Basement Jaxx headline.

The Grolsch Summer Set will return to the stunning courtyard at Somerset House on London¹s Embankment on 4th August with Air, followed by Turin Brakes, Basement Jaxx, Beverley Knight and Snow Patrol. The perfect line up for a balmy summer evening of quality music and chilled beer.
