The third night of the Grolsch Summer Set saw Basement Jaxx getting the crowds jumping in Bristol last night at Canon¹s Marsh Amphitheatre. The eclectic mix of funky soulful house drove fans wild and provided the perfect sounds for the ultimate summer party.

The carnival atmosphere on stage was magnificent as Basement Jaxx blended tracks that would not sound out of place at the height of the Rio Carnival. Rarely has there been a band that has so much fun playing their hits. The good vibes seamlessly united the jumping crowds.

Support came from the sportswear wielding Goldie Lookin' Chain, who as always impressed with their mix of cheap gold jewellery and catchy numbers. The Newport boys are fast establishing themselves as much more than a gimmick with their polished live performances.

The fantastic Basement Jaxx gig was the finale of The Grolsch Summer Set in Bristol, preceded by sold out gigs from Massive Attack and Groove Armada. The unique three-day event hosted by Grolsch has offered music lovers the perfect summer gigs.

The Grolsch Summer Set will return to the stunning courtyard at Somerset House on London¹s embankment on 4th August with Air, followed by Turin Brakes, Basement Jaxx, Beverley Knight and Snow Patrol. The perfect line up for a balmy summer evening of quality music and chilled beer.
