Hoping to convince more people in Bristol to get involved in politics, Blackwell’s, the biggest academic bookseller in the UK, is bringing award-winning satirist, Michael Moore, to the Old Vic Theatre on the 14th November 2003. Moore’s new book, ‘Dude, Where’s My Country’, published by Penguin, who are bringing the author over to the UK, has already achieved international bestseller status and his last book, ‘Stupid White Men’, was 2002’s biggest-selling paperback in the US and UK. Currently, it has sold over one million books in Britain alone.

Moore is keen to impress that one person can make a difference and, in ‘Dude, Where’s My Country?’, suggests many ways to do so, from talking to as many people as possible about different parties and their policies to downloading a poster from your chosen candidate’s website.
