BIJOU CREATE A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN
FOR THE IKEA INTERNATIONAL BALLOON FIESTA 2004
This
year Bristol’s very own Cirque Bijou will create a ‘little slice of
Heaven’ in woodland glade at the Balloon Fiesta.
This
has been made possible with funding from the IKEA International Balloon
Fiesta.
‘Heaven’
will be a very entertaining and relaxed area perfect for escaping life’s
hustle and bustle. There will
be shady, quiet places to eat picnics and areas for children to play.
You
will enter through a huge pair of Pearly Gates which will be animated by
Angels and Devils who will decide just how good you’ve been. Those select few who meet the Angel’s high standards will
be offered a place on ‘Cloud 9’.
‘Cloud
9’ is a special place that very few people have heard of yet alone seen
- a place where people are pampered.
The lucky few will be elevated to a land of flowing white silks and
extra fluffy pillows; they will be fed grapes by cherubs, read poetry by
angels and offered massage by gods.
Other
attractions in heaven will include:

A
tea dance with professional dancers on hand to help you glide around
the dance floor. There
will also be places to sit, watch the dancers and eat pastries.

A
trapeze rig on which heavenly bodies will provide stunning aerial
performance.

Exotic
street performers will entertain with music and comedy.
There will be performances by – Stickleback Plasticus, The
Desperate Men, The Complimentary Compliments, Cirque Bijou and many
others.
