HEAVEN
Last year’s Heaven area is back, providing an area
away from the bustle of the main arena. This haven of tranquillity
and calm promises to offer a world of interactive entertainment that will
stretch the imagination and set creative juices flowing, here are some of
the activities you can expect…
Bristol Zoo
This is a unique opportunity to experience and interact at close
hand with a selection of Bristol Zoo’s exotic animals such as snakes,
bearded dragons and tarantulas. Experienced volunteers will be available
to provide an insight into the lives of these exciting animals. A touch
table will allow people to get hands on with a wide selection of biofacts
and learn more about the conservation of endangered species.
ATBristol
Join At-Bristol for a feast of science fun at the fiesta. Baffle your
brain and trick your senses in the ‘Brain and Body Show’, get
interactive with science busking activities and discover the science
behind the hands-on exhibits.
Mosaic Madness
Be part of building a magical labyrinth using eye-catching flags made out
of colourful recycled materials. Or get creative and have fun making your
own fantastic foam picture frames to take home. Welcoming all ages and

Gorillas
Watch out for the wild roaming gorillas! But look closely if you dare to
realise that they haven’t just escaped from a Zoo but these are in fact
fascinating characters that look and behave just like mountain gorillas in
their natural wild habitat. Not just an interactive performance, but
the actors also impart valuable insight into the mountain gorilla’s
habitat and do’s and don’ts when in their vicinity.
Hum Drum Strum
Ever tapped along to a great rhythm and fancied being a participant rather
than a spectator? Community drum circles allow anyone, of any age, with
any level of musical experience, to gather in a group and make music
together. Relax, de-stress, have plenty of fun, brought to you by
HumDrumStrum.
Shirely Jones Clay Making
A relaxing and expressive workshop of clay figure making. Now in
its third year an army of 10,000 clay figures, faces and fantasies to
date, the ‘Daemon or Doppelganger’ project continues to astonish and
delight. So come along to get your hands dirty and surprise yourself with
how creative you can be.
OTHER SITE ENTERTAINMENT
The Scout Association
Visit stand B7 to have a go on the bouldering wall and whilst there quench
your thirst with a free whole bottle of Robinson's fruit shoot and get
full information on the opportunities that Scouting has to offer.
McCain Potato Games
Great free family entertainment! McCain are offering visitors to
this year’s show a chance to really do something different with potatoes
at their amazing Potato Games arena. Have a go on our fun potato games to
win a family ticket to a theme park, enjoy a sample of hot potato wedges,
or simply sit back and let our McCain host entertain you.However you want
to take part you are sure to have a great time.
Müllerice
Check out the Müllerice snack station for your low fat refuelling snack,
there’s a free pot for everyone. Plus join in the fun with the Müllerice
bungee trampoline, rolling rock wall and mini trampoline!
