Exciting Arena Activities

Mass Balloon Launches
Spectacular mass launches will take place at 6am and 6pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday when 120 balloons will take off en masse. Don’t miss the special shapes rodeo at 6pm on Thursday either when a whole host of unique shaped balloons will launch.  Look out for some favourite old shapes, which are now retired from flying, but are coming to tether only over the weekend.
All ballooning activity is weather dependant, but be assured that our on site PA announcements will keep you informed with up-to-the minute flying news.

Exit Parachute Team
A regular Fiesta favourite.  Watch as a helicopter lands in the main arena and carries the parachutists to a height of 5000 feet.  On exiting the craft, the team perform a breath taking synchronised display as they float back into the arena.

Fire Brigade
The action packed displays from Avon Fire & Rescue Service, with the help of the Fire Cadets, highlight the type of incidents fire fighters attend daily, ranging from traffic collisions to household fires.  Visit them on stand D7 where you can book free Home Fire Safety visits and take away helpful safety advice.

Bristol Rugby Club

Honda Dream Team Display
Gaze in awe as Team Honda demonstrates a spectacular sequence of aerobatics.  In a blaze of smoke and colours watch as pilot Will Curtis performs breath taking manoeuvres, including rolling and looping sequences. Visit the Honda stand situated near the Heaven area, where they will be running a children’s drawing competition with free crayons and giving away Honda Dream Team photo frame fridge magnets. Kids will be asked to turn an outline of a car into the ultimate flying machine, with the chance to win a private Dream Team display!

Vander Bros

There will be 7 races altogether, so come along and cheer on our cute furry friends. Donkey rides will also be available on the day.

Paratrooper Display

They are specialists in the use of the 105mm Light Gun, which can be dropped by parachute, under-slung by helicopter towed by truck or pushed by hand. The exciting role has to be maintained in addition to civilian employment.

It’s a Knock Out:
This really is a truly original touring version of the legendary TV programme including all the thrills and spills. With a reputation for highly imaginative games unique giant colourful inflatable obstacles and backdrops, teams will compete in wet and wild games and challenges to help raise funds for official fiesta charity, John Grooms appeal.

Punch and Judy
